| Centex reports 2Q results U.S. home builder Centex reported financial results for its fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2008. Fiscal second quarter revenues were $1.01 billion, 54% lower than the same quarter last year. The loss from continuing operations for the second quarter was $202 million, or a loss of $1.62 per diluted share, narrower than last year's second quarter loss of $645 million, or $5.27 per diluted share.
