Hochtief to realize office project in Essen

Hochtief Projektentwicklung will start constructing the new "Rüttenscheider Tor" office building in Essen in fall 2008. Until the end of 2009, almost 9,800 square meters of gross floor area will be created on the site at the corner of Alfredstrasse/Messeallee. Sixty-two percent of the office space has already been let to law offices GÖRG Rechtsanwälte and Rechtsanwälte Kümmerlein Simon & Partner before the actual start of construction.

On the 4,700-square-meter site, a property comprising five standard floors and one set-back floor will be built. Because of its L-shaped ground-plan, the object will have two addresses - Alfredstrasse and Messeallee. The building's architecture creates a conceptual link to the design of the Gruga Office Park which is located directly opposite and was completed in 2002: In their height and visual effect, the two buildings form a harmonious whole.
