Turner wins EUR 206 million contract in the USA

Hochtief's subsidiary Turner has secured a new project worth EUR 206 million (USD 280 million) in the USA: The company will be responsible for planning and constructing buildings for a Graduate School of Business on the Stanford University campus in California. This is Turner's 15,000th large-scale contract in its 106-year corporate history. The new, 33,500-square-meter Knight Management Center will be comprised of eight buildings. Construction of a parking facility has already begun, and construction on the seven additional buildings will commence in March 2009. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2011.
