| Hypo Real Estate Holding AG changes CEO Georg Funke, CEO of Hypo Real Estate Holding AG, in agreement with the Supervisory Board, will leave the group with immediate effect. Dr. Axel Wieandt (42) will take over as CEO of Hypo Real Estate Holding AG with effect from Monday 13 October 2008. Since 2003, Dr. Wieandt has been Global Head of Corporate Investments at Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt.
