| Vattenfall acquires Amec Wind Energy Swedish energy company Vattenfall announced the acquisition of 100% of Amec Wind Energy Limited, a major UK developer of commercial wind farms for cash consideration of around 126.6 million GBP (equalling about 1.6 billion SEK or 160 million EUR).
