| Schindler Elevator to purchase assets of Valley Elevator Schindler Elevator Corporation, a leading elevator and escalator manufacturer in North America, announced that they have closed an agreement to purchase substantially all of the assets of Chicago-area based Valley Elevator, Inc. The acquisition enables Schindler to expand its presence in Northern Illinois and lay the groundwork for future growth in the area.
