| HBG Construction secures over £60 million of new contracts HBG Construction has been successful in securing a project to create the new Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. The development will create the new headquarters for Severn Trent from mid 2010. The project, worth £40 million, was won in competition in a single stage design and construct tender. In addition HBG has recently been awarded two other projects - the Q3 Academy in Great Barr and Slingfield Mill in Kidderminster. The Q3 Academy is an £18 million project to replace the existing Dartmouth High School. The Slingfield Mill project is a £4.5 million extension to an existing Grade 2 listed Mill to provide two floors of retail for Debenhams and three floors of shell accommodation for future hotel fit-out. Henderson Global Investors manage the existing busy Retail Park and have awarded this contract on a 2 Stage arrangement. In October, HBG UK Ltd will change to BAM Construct UK Ltd. The re-branding exercise forms part of Royal BAM Group's previously defined strategy to reinforce the BAM brand. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
