| Shelbourne Development to develop landmark Paris building Dublin-based Shelbourne Development has announced a joint initiative with Meunier, the property development arm of BNP Paribas, to develop a major mixed use scheme on the site of the Soletanche building in Nanterre, Paris. Located on the western outskirts of the City adjacent to La Defense, Europe's largest business district, the site comprises approximately 5,000 sq m in total. Designed by international architects Atelier 2M, the new development will incorporate c. 11,000 sq m of prime office accommodation and c. 7,000 sq m of apartment space offering easy access to an established network of motorway, rail and public transport links. Acquired by Shelbourne in 2002, the existing Soletanche building is currently occupied by international engineering company Soletanche Bachy and comprises c. 8,000 sq m of office accommodation with 131 allocated car parking spaces at basement level.
