| Iberdrola signs 4,000 contracts with irrigators in Spain Spanish power company Iberdrola has signed 4,000 contracts for the supply of high-tension electricity with irrigators throughout Spain, which represents 26% of the total number. Following the removal, last 1 July, of the regulatory tariffs for the supply of high-tension electricity, and in particular those for agricultural irrigation, one of the groups most affected was the irrigators, since its members, as well as having to sign contracts as soon as possible with one of the suppliers, needed advice in order to optimise its method of supplying electricity. Iberdrola has identified this group as one of the priorities for its commercial activity, carrying out a significant effort during the summer period to minimise the negative impact of the end of the tariffs for irrigators, which has enabled it to achieve the 4,000 signed contracts. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
