New Dry Vacuum accessory

Kaivac, developers of the No-Touch Cleaning system, will introduce a new Dry Vacuum accessory at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America 2008 tradeshow to be held on September 8-11 in Las Vegas, NV. The accessory instantly transforms any No-Touch Cleaning System into a high-powered dry vacuum, eliminating the need to purchase or transport additional vacuum cleaners when performing cleaning tasks. According to Tom Morrison, vice president of marketing for Kaivac, the Dry Vacuum accessory includes two vacuum heads as well as a canister that holds a disposable filter.

- The vacuum reportedly removes significantly more soil than a traditional dust mop from tile, linoleum, hardwood, and other hard surfaces as it helps protect indoor air quality

- A KaiTurbine head, has an airflow-driven beater bar that cleans carpeting thoroughly and, because it does not require electrical power, safely cleans damp surfaces, such as entrance mats.

In addition, the Dry Vacuum accessory system can be used with Kaivac's optional DryAuto, a wide area hard surface head that has proven effective in cleaning hallways, classrooms, cafeterias, and other large floor areas.

"The exhaust is also 'double-filtered' to help protect the health of cleaning workers and the indoor environment," adds Morrison. "Powered by the three-stage vacuum motor of the No-Touch Cleaning machine, it combines its own filtration system with the HEPA filter found on all No-Touch Cleaning Systems."

Morrison adds that the Dry Vacuum accessory fits perfectly into Kaivac's product line. "Our goal has always been to produce multipurpose equipment that improves worker safety and creates more hygienically clean and healthy facilities," he says. "We also want to simplify cleaning procedures and help reduce cleaning costs."
