| New Sky Air FVQ heat pump units ![]() Several features of the new units enhance comfort levels. They are quiet in operation, with sound levels as low as 36 dB(A), which is comparable to a quiet room. A choice of two fan speeds is available: high or low, while the special Daikin dry programme reduces humidity in the room without variations in room temperature. The horizontal auto swing feature moves the flaps slowly from left to right to distribute air effectively throughout the entire room. The vertical air flow pattern can be adjusted manually to match cooling or heating requirements in different sized or irregularly shaped rooms. The units are easy to use thanks to the remote controller that is mounted on the front of the unit as standard. Furthermore, the LCD control panel can be detached and used as a wired remote controller, enabling the indoor unit to be controlled from a remote location. Daikin's innovative inverter technology adjusts the power to suit the actual requirement, by monitoring and adjusting the ambient temperature. The inverter also shortens system start-up time, enabling the required room temperature to be reached more quickly. As soon as that temperature is reached, the inverter ensures that it is constantly maintained. The indoor unit is equipped with a high-efficiency, long-life filter. The remote controller indicates when the filter needs to be replaced, assuring optimum operation and reducing maintenance time and cost. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
