| New Multi-Axial PowerDrill The Wachs Multi-Axial PowerDrill is a field tool designed for drilling, boring, and tapping pipes of any diameter. The drill features 5" tool diameter, high-torque gearing, long feed travel, and up to five axes of adjustment for amazing flexibility. A modular design makes setup quick and easy for one operator, with a standard mounting saddle for pipes from 6 to 24 inches. Multiple drive options are available, using a standard Wachs motor adapter. The drill can use standard and reversible air motors in 1-1/2 HP and 2-1/2 HP sizes, and hydraulic power is also available. Optional equipment includes a two-speed gearbox, a pivot mount for off-center drilling, a digital level, and a laser pointer system. Optional mounting saddles allow the PowerDrill to be used on flat surfaces or larger size pipes. The machine features a 1-1/2" (38 mm) straight bore spindle and uses a wide range of standard tooling and tool adapters, including up to #4 Morse Taper.
