Emcor Group, the US's largest mechanical contractor, announced that KDC Systems, a division of its Dynalectric subsidiary in Los Angeles, has been awarded a contract to provide upgraded instrumentation, controls and systems engineering for the Lancaster Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) in Lancaster, California. The Lancaster WRP provides primary and secondary treatment for 16 million gallons of wastewater per day.

The scope of work will include the installation of new storage reservoirs, a pump station and pipelines for the storage and distribution of recycled water to reuse sites. KDC Systems will be responsible for designing and installing approximately 25 control panels and will specify and procure all instruments involved in the project.
