| IVG Development builds “Medienbrücke” in Munich IVG Development is taking on an architecturally innovative project: A bridge construction is being built above the buildings of the Media Works Munich business park that will float above the portfolio property. Even before construction has begun, 65% of the five floors of office space, which starts 30 metres above the ground, have been let to the media agency GroupM, which will base its subsidiaries Quisma, MediaCom, Mediaedge:cia, Plakatqualität and Magic Poster there. This project development will enrich the attractive location that IVG has been developing for several years at Rosenheimer Str. into a city planning feature. The steel skeleton construction with its loft design will form a connection between the revitalised Media Works Munich buildings and the "Around the East Station" district currently under development. Construction is scheduled to start in spring 2009 with completion expected by the summer of 2010. The project was designed by the Munich architect's office Steidle and is being handled by the Munich branch of IVG Development. Over the last few years, IVG Immobilien AG has developed this location into one of the most successful media locations in Germany and Europe.
