MWH awarded environmental report phase of US project

MWH, a global provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, has been selected by Areva NC, Inc. to provide environmental services to assist in the licensing of Areva's proposed Uranium Enrichment Facility site located in Bonneville County, Idaho. Under terms of the $1.7 million contract, MWH will provide services for the environmental report that will be part of the license application for submission to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

MWH assisted Areva in selecting Bonneville County, Idaho as the site of its proposed U.S. uranium enrichment facility. The site location was chosen after an extensive technical and environmental analysis of several potential sites throughout the United States.
