The board of directors of Holcim Ltd has decided to enlarge the executive committee and appointed Urs Böhlen, area manager of Holcim Ltd, and Patrick Dolberg, CEO of Holcim US, new members of the executive committee.

Urs Böhlen will be taking over responsibility for Eastern/Southeastern Europe and the CIS/Caspian region from Hansueli Heé effective November 1, 2008. As of the same date, Patrick Dolberg will assume responsibility for Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
