New test for TRAFICLINE ESD interlocking PVC tile

In answer to companies who need an EPA area (Electro Protected Area), Groupe TLM recognises the requirement of the international standard CEI 61340, and reinforces its specialist position for industrial flooring with resins and interlocking PVC tiles. In EPA areas, static electricity has to be kept to levels that protects users and also prevents damage to electronic components. The standard is updated regularly and each time it becomes more stringent.

TRAFICLINE ESD (Electro Static Discharge) interlocking PVC floor tiles have successfully been tested to this norm by the LCIE (Central Laboratory of Electrical Industries).

The results indicate:
- a transverse resistance < 10 6 Ohm following the norm NF EN 61340-4-1
- a potential of charge < 100 V using electrostatic dissipative shoes following the norm NF 61340-4-3.

So TRAFICLINE ESD is satisfying the criteria of the final norm project CEI 61340-5-1.

It's important to note that this ESD version can be used in conjunction with the standard TRAFICLINE, interlocking PVC tile range: an industrial flooring that allows for fast installation and renovation, with minimal disruption to daily work activities, minimal preparation to the floor, and no major dust or noise caused.
