Suez Cement helps to build a better Egypt

Suez Cement, a company in Italian cement producer Italcementi, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Minister of Housing, H.E. Eng. Ahmed el-Maghraby. The National Project for Housing is the biggest low-cost housing venture set up in the Middle East to address the nationwide problem of housing shortages. The project aims to build 500,000 housing units in Egypt by 2010, intended for low-income population groups. Suez Cement will support the National Project for Housing by donating 50,000 tons of cement and selling an additional 150,000 tons of cement ex-work price.
