| Siemens to create jobs in North Rhine-Westphalia Siemens intends to invest a total of €180 million to expand production capacities and drive new technologies in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. These investments are expected to result in up to 850 new jobs at the company's facilities in Friedrichsfeld, Bocholt and Wesel over the next four years. In April 2008, Siemens already opened a new test center for large compressor trains in Duisburg, the company's biggest single investment in Europe amounting to €100 million. Two hundred additional jobs will gradually be created at the Duisburg location, boosting the total number of new jobs at Siemens in North Rhine-Westphalia to more than 1,000 in the next few years. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
