| Rautia's yard buildings Rautia will be one of the exhibitors at the Holiday Housing Fair in Reposaari, Pori from 13 June to 6 July 2008. Rautia will exhibit nine different yard buildings (Rautia Ua 12-13) in Pori. The buildings include a storehouse, a guest cabin, a warehouse/woodshed, a log barn, a large warehouse shed, a hut kitchen and an outhouse as well as a Kimara cottage of planed sawn timber and a barbecue shelter. "There are 28 different Kimara yard buildings. Barbecue shelters and various sauna cottages are among the most traditional ones, but the range also includes options from a two-floor storehouse to a smoke sauna. There is a choice of 11 different logs and log thicknesses of 95-230 mm for all buildings," says Product Manager Pekka Kivimäki of Rautakesko. Besides yard buildings, the Kimara range also comprises holiday homes and single-family log houses. Families spend a lot of time at their holiday homes, often many generations together and/or inviting guests there. This presents challenges to the efficiency of housing and storage facilities. In addition, garden furniture and equipment at holiday homes has increased in number, and so has the need for covered storage space. Once a suitable solution for a holiday house or yard building has been found, a prefabricated building does not require any extra work with wooden parts. "The yard buildings are light to move at the construction site and easy to erect by following the instructions included. The products are available at stores or will be delivered in a few days. The buildings are very maintenance free, as long as the base is not allowed to freeze and dampness enter the structures," says Product Manager Hannu Pulkkinen of Rautakesko. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
