| URS wins contract by California's Department of Water Resources URS Corporation has been awarded a contract by the State of California's Department of Water Resources (DWR) to evaluate 800 miles of non-urban levees in California's Central Valley, and to assist DWR with managing geotechnical evaluations for approximately 1,600 miles of the state's Central Valley levees. The contract has a maximum value of $90 million to URS. Under the terms of the contract, URS will perform historic data collections, field exploration, testing analysis.
