| European Coatings Show: The Gold Standard  The European Coatings Show from 31 March – 2 April 2009 once again sets the trends for the production of high-quality, competitive coatings, paints, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives. In addition to the extensive range of products at the exhibition, the European Coatings Congress invites top decision-makers from the field of international coatings development to the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg for a high-level exchange of information. Some 23,000 trade visitors from 99 countries used the European Coatings Show 2007 to source information from the 838 exhibitors about the state of the art in raw materials, laboratory and production equipment, testing and measuring equipment and other services. The coming European Coatings Show under the motto of "The Gold Standard" promises to be another real highlight.Experts from all over the world gather for a top-level exchange of views for the tenth time at this event – now under its new name of European Coatings Congress – from 30 March to 1 April 2009. The presentations by innovative companies, universities and institutions will show the international community of formulators the latest developments and a look into the future development of coatings, printing inks, adhesives and construction chemicals. The interactive poster sessions accompanying the presentation programme are a new feature in 2009. They are intended to promote and aid scientific exchange between industry and research and academic institutions, make contacts and facilitate cooperations.
