| Lamina opens Design Center in New York Lamina Lighting Incorporated, the world leader in the development and manufacturer of high-power LED light engines, has opened The Lamina Design Center, a product showroom and design studio at 336 West 37th Street in Manhattan. The Center is located in The Arts Building, also home to lighting designers, artists and other businesses in the creative field. The company plans to quickly roll out a series of networking events and hands-on workshops at The Center. The workshop curriculum will focus primarily on optical, thermal and electronic issues associated with advancing solid state lighting technology and luminaire design.
