| BAA appoints new managing director BAA announces the appointment of a managing director for the new airports division, with responsibility for running six of BAAs seven UK airports. Stephen Peat will join BAA on 1st July from Amey, part of Spanish building group Ferrovial. He is currently director of operations for the Tube Lines consortium, which is regenerating the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines on behalf of London Underground.
