| Vietnam-based Cavico awarded dam construction contract Cavico Corporation, a Hanoi-based infrastructure construction, infrastructure investment and natural resources conglomerate, announced that Cavico Infrastructure, its wholly owned subsidiary, has signed an agreement to construct a rolling weir for Dambri hydropower plant. The value of the contract is estimated at $3.12 million and is to be completed in thirty months. This brings Cavico's total awards at the Dambri hydropower plant to over $37 million. This contract represents the fifth contract Cavico has been awarded at Dambri plant. The rolling weir will measure 55 meters in height, 214 meters in length, 16.63 meters at the base with a 6.5 meter upper base. Vietnam's Dambri Hydropower plant is located 87 miles northeast of Ho Chi Minh City in Da Huoai village, near Da Teh city in Lam Dong Province.
