| Clark/Balfour Beatty jv awarded contract in Bethesda The Naval Facilities Engineering Command awarded the Clark/Balfour Beatty joint venture a design-build contract for major expansion and renovations to the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. The project totals over $640,000,000 and will be completed over a period of 40 months. Under the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program the project will be designed and constructed by the Clark/Balfour Beatty joint venture to support establishment of the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda.
