| Five months before Chillventa Five months before Chillventa, the International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heat Pumps, 603 companies and organizations have registered for a net display area of 29.609 m². The industry's market leaders are virtually all there in Nuremberg in October – so a comprehensive market survey is guaranteed. The organizer NürnbergMesse expects 800 exhibitors and some 25,000 trade visitors from all over the world. Besides the 603 registrations, the companies on the list of exhibitors also include country pavilions from Great Britain, the USA, Spain, Turkey and China. Some 80 more individual companies have been announced for these pavilions, but they are not yet included in the list of exhibitors, so the present total number of exhibitors can be put at nearly 700. The supporting programme drawn up over the past months is an impressive reflection of the activities in the industry. The programme is organized and designed by the associations and organizations, which as honorary sponsors are shaping the new face of the industry. The variety of the programme covers the spectrum of the international refrigeration and air conditioning industry: from absorption refrigeration, natural refrigerants, energy efficiency, heat recovery, commercial and industrial refrigeration, energy-efficient fans, refrigeration in the food trade and reduction of CO2 in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to the use of heat pumps. Plant assemblers, planners and operators can obtain a comprehensive survey of the current products on the market at Chillventa 2008 in Nürnberg. The new International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heat Pumps offers information on as good as all aspects of refrigeration and air conditioning. The conference and supporting programme starts on Tuesday, 14.10.2008, the day before Chillventa begins. The programme kicks off with the continuation of the successful International Heat Pump Symposium launched under the leadership of DKV (German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Society) in September 2007. The noted ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium (Association of European Refrigeration Compressor and Controls Manufacturers + European Partnership for Energy and Environment) takes place on the afternoon, parallel to the Symposium on Absorption Refrigeration held by ILK Dresden (Institute of Air Handling and Refrigeration Technology). After this, kεkk (Centre of Excellence for Energy Efficiency in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) invites visitors to a panel discussion . The first day ends with a Get-Together of all participants and speakers. On Wednesday, 15.10.2008, the first day of the exhibition, the VDMA (Air Handling Technology Association, VDMA) session offers interested visitors information about the latest developments in energy-efficient fans . The Institute of Building Air Conditioning >(FGK) devotes the second day of the exhibition, Thursday, 16.10.2008, completely to the planners . The planners' day focuses on the reduction of CO2 in air conditioning systems, energy recovery, and system optimization through the use of VRV/VRF systems. The event is rounded off with the developments and efficiency criteria of chillers. The 1-day event entitled "New Air Conditioning in a Day" takes place in the modern CCN Ost congress centre. Planners attending can combine this event with a visit to the exhibition or another event in the supporting programme. There is also an opportunity to obtain information about "Natural Ventilation" on this day by attending a short course organized by ASHRAE . Also on Thursday, 16.10.2008, is a series of presentations offered by the industry initiative eurammon in the CCN Ost congress centre, where international speakers brief planners, operators and plant assemblers on the advantages of natural refrigerants. The topics include the use of carbon dioxide for air conditioning and cooling in computing centres and for refrigeration in supermarkets. The audience also obtain an insight into the past, present and future of ammonia refrigeration plants in the Ukraine and discover how the energy efficiency of refrigeration plants in the meat processing industry can be optimized by the use of ammonia. At the subsequent "Brunch for Friends of Natural Refrigerants", everyone interested has the opportunity for in-depth discussions on the eurammon stand. eurammon also offers international visitors comprehensive information about all aspects of refrigeration with natural refrigerants on its stand on all three days of the exhibition. On Friday, 17.10.2008, an event organized jointly by DKV and the VDMA Refrigerated Cabinets Group will deal in detail with the state of the art, energy conservation possibilities, refrigeration chain logistics and testing plants to the F-Gas Regulation. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
