| Hochtief announces results for the first quarter 2008 Hochtief, Germany's largest builder and owner of one of Australia's largest contractors, has presented a strong set of results for the first quarter. New orders were up 33.8 percent on the first quarter of 2007. Consolidated net profit grew particularly fast, increasing more than threefold to EUR 32.1 million (Q1 2007: EUR 9.6 million). New orders for the three months to March 31, 2008 came to EUR 5.27 billion (Q1 2007: EUR 3.94 billion).
