| Hochtief secures contracts in the USA German construction company Hochtief has scored new successes in the USA, securing contracts worth an aggregated EUR 124 million via its local subsidiaries. For a total of EUR 64 million (USD 100 million), Hochtief subsidiary Turner is set to construct new buildings at three university locations: the scope of work for the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, the University of Buffalo and the University of California in San Diego will include new laboratories, classrooms and residential buildings comprising a total of 60,000 square meters. The projects at the University of Illinois are being constructed to achieve LEED Silver NC Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
