| Cegelec to revamp the Arzew refinery in Algeria French electrical engineering group Cegelec won a major contract to revamp and extend the electrical grid of the Arzew refinery near Oran in western Algeria. The contract was signed with the national oil refining company (Naftec), a subsidiary of Sonatrach, for an amount of 67 million euros. This project, which must be completed within a period of 28 months, will help to increase the production capacity of hydrocarbons and satisfy local and international demand. The contract covers medium and low voltage distribution as well as the digital instrumentation and control system of the electrical grid.
