Launch of the "Hills Gardening Club" in Tokyo

The ARK Gardening Club and the Roppongi Hills Gardening Club, which are managed by Tokyo-based Mori Building, one of Japan 's best-known developers, will be consolidated and reorganized from April 2008, and start anew as the "Hills Gardening Club". This club is a community of citizens who voluntarily participate in the "greening" of the urban environment through participation in gardening activities that utilize the open "green" areas of Mori Building facilities as their stage.

Established in 1997, the ARK Gardening Club comprised approximately 100 members who mainly resided in the vicinity of ARK Hills. Under the guidance of a master gardener, the club, which is virtually autonomous in its operation and management, participated in a variety of gardening activities and maintained greenery in the area. Inspired by the success and achievements in ARK Hills, the Roppongi Hills Gardening Club was established in April 2005 and has been playing an active role in its community. Now with the aim of expanding both the scope and area of gardening club activities and contributing to further community building, the two clubs have been merged to form the Hills Gardening Club.
