SEB Immobilien-Investment reorganizes its businesses

SEB Immobilien-Investment GmbH, SEB Asset Management's real estate investment company, is reorganising the property management of its German property portfolio. Effective 1 April 2008, EPM Assetis, a company of Bilfinger Berger Facility Services GmbH, and DeTeImmobilien were contracted to provide commercial property management services for the current total of 51 properties with a total space of approximately 700,000 square metres.

Property management will be assigned on a regional basis: EPM Assetis will assume responsibility for the North Portfolio, which currently comprises 26 properties (batch 1), while DeTeImmobilien will manage the South Portfolio, which currently has 22 properties (batch 2). Most of the properties in these two batches are used as office space. The selection process for the third batch, which consists of three shopping centres with a total space of approximately 65,000 square metres, has not yet been completed.

New properties acquired in the future will be allocated to the partners in line with the regional allocation. The 19 properties of the recently acquired "Quartier Potsdamer Platz" in Berlin will continue to be managed by local firm Asset Management Potsdamer Platz GmbH.
