| Vinci and Hochtief launch construction of motorway in Germany Concession operator Via Solutions Thüringen GmbH & CO.KG, a company formed on a 50/50 basis by Vinci Concessions and Hochtief PPP Solutions, has just launched the construction of the A4 motorway, linking the towns of Gotha and Eisenach in the state of Thuringia. The works involve the design, construction and upgrading of a 45 km stretch of motorway. Valued at 300 million euros, this project will make a major contribution to easing congestion on one of the most important motorway routes crossing Germany from west to east. The upgrading (widening) and construction works, taking 4 years, will be tackled by a consortium composed of Eurovia, the project's lead contractor (1/3), Hochtief Construction (1/3) and German SMEs (1/3).
