| WorleyParsons wins Romanian refinery contract Australian engineering services firm WorleyParsons has been awarded a contract by Petrom S.A. for the front-end engineering and design associated with the modernization and expansion of the Petrobrazi refinery in Ploesti, Romania. The project is part of Petrom's Vision 2010 refinery modernisation and development program. WorleyParsons' expected revenue over the course of the project is estimated to exceed A$40 million. The overall Vision 2010 programme is valued at approximately €1 billion. Petrom is the largest Romanian oil and gas group, with activities in the business segments of exploration and production, refining and petrochemicals, natural gas, as well as sales and marketing.
