| Tetra Tech wins USAID contract in Afghanistan Tetra Tech, Inc. announced that ARD, Inc., its recent acquisition, was awarded a $55 million, single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) alternative development programs in western Afghanistan. Over the next two years, Tetra Tech will work with U.S. and Afghan partners to improve the economic and social infrastructure in western Afghanistan, helping to speed national reconstruction efforts. Tetra Tech will help communities identify and seize meaningful opportunities to improve incomes and create lasting jobs in high-value agricultural pursuits, while reinforcing the social and economic infrastructure on which these opportunities depend.
