| Lovell set for housing scheme in Stoke-on-Trent Morgan Sindall's affordable housing and regeneration business Lovell has been chosen to build an £11 million housing scheme in Stoke-on-Trent. National regeneration agency English Partnerships selected Lovell following a developer competition to find the best proposals for the site which overlooks the Caldon Canal and forms part of the new City Waterside neighbourhood. Lovell will start work this spring on the development of 91 houses and apartments for open market sale, low-cost home ownership, affordable rent and shared ownership on the site of a former electricity substation. It will provide 83 homes for open market sale and low cost home ownership. In addition, it will create eight homes for affordable rent and shared ownership through Beth Johnson Housing Association. The housing scheme is set to be completed in 2010. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
