| Mott MacDonald appointed as detailed designer on Ghana plant Mott MacDonald has been appointed as the detailed designer for the second phase of the TEMA Power Plant development by GECAD Incorporated. The TEMA Osonor Power Plant is being developed to provide much needed power to Ghana's national grid. Located adjacent to the TEMA oil refinery near Accra in Ghana, this development will deliver an independent power plant based around a General Electric frame 9E gas turbine operating in open cycle. The 126MW plant will be situated on the same site as the TEMA 1 Thermal Power Plant, currently under construction, and also designed by Mott MacDonald.
