| Aecon secures contract for oilsands project in Alberta Canadian based construction company Aecon Group Inc. announced that its Industrial Central division has secured a fabrication contract valued at over $25 million for an oilsands project in Alberta. Under the contract, Aecon Industrial will perform pipe spool fabrication for Shell Canada's Scotford Upgrader Expansion 1. The project will be carried out at Aecon's Cambridge, Ontario fabrication facility.
