| Cimpor announces new acquisitions Cimentos de Portugal, the largest Portuguese cement group, through its subsidiaries Hormigones Hercules, S.L. and Occidental de Hormigones, S.L., has acquired, for EUR 15.5 million, three ready mix concrete units (two in the region of Sevilla and one in Huelva), and the totality of the share capital of the Spanish company Arenor Hormigones, S.L.U. (owner of another three ready mix concrete units, also in Sevilla). All together, these six units will provide an additional production capacity of around 400 thousand cubic meters per year. Also at this date, Cimpor, through its subsidiary Occidental de Áridos, S.L., has acquired, for EUR 24.45 million, a 75% shareholding in the share capital of the Spanish company Arenor Áridos, S.L.U., which, through leased lands in the same region, explores a set of quarries with an annual aggregate production capacity of nearly 2.5 million tons.
