| Acciona Real Estate buys land in Brazil Acciona Real Estate has bought 213,000 square metres of land in the state of Río de Janeiro. The transaction involves a total investment of 28 million euro to build 372 homes. The project is a unique gated community with 24-hour security surrounded by 98,000 m² of green areas. The complex will include 288 apartments, 84 single-family dwellings, a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, and a small lake. Both sales and construction of the complex, scheduled to begin this June, will be handled by Acciona Real Estate, which has been operating in Brazil for more than a decade. The site is in Penedo, a residential area close to Resende, in the state of Río de Janeiro, with a growing population due basically to its strong position as a logistics hub and its strategic location, just 150 km from Río de Janeiro and 250 km from Sao Paolo. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
