| Lafarge announces new appointment to Executive Committee  Lafarge announces the appointment to the Group Executive Committee of Jean Desazars de Montgailhard, Executive Vice-President, Strategy, Development and Public Affairs. Born in 1952, Jean Desazars de Montgailhard joined Lafarge in 1989. Jean Desazars de Montgailhard started his career at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was specialized in multilateral negotiations, strategic questions and arms control. He served as a diplomat in Madrid, Stockholm and Washington DC, as well as at the central administration.
