Nuttall to modify dock at Rosyth

Edmund Nuttall Ltd, the British civil engineering specialist of Royal BAM Group nv - has won a €46 million (£35 million) contract to modify a dry dock at the naval base Rosyth, near Dunfermline, at the east-coast of Scotland. The construction period is 139 weeks.

Client is the multi-skilled marine technology company FBM Babcock Marine, who will assemble two 65,000 tonne aircraft carriers in the docks - the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales. The new aircraft carriers will be the largest ships ever sailed by the Royal Navy.
