| Alstom to supply Melbourne with suburban trains Alstom Transport has been awarded a contract worth 160 million euros to supply the State of Victoria in southeast Australia with X'Trapolis suburban trains for the City of Melbourne's metropolitan network. The contract is for 18 X'Trapolis six-car trainsets, which are scheduled for delivery from late 2009.
