| New rotary hammer with IDI technology ![]() Designed with a powerful 11.6 amp motor that delivers 1200 watts of input power, this new rotary hammer out specs the competition. Using a highly efficient striking transmission, the DH45MR produces 30% faster drilling speeds and 15% greater chiseling performance than even the closest competitors. Constant speed control delivers consistent and efficient performance through varying loads. Electronic variable speed control gives the tool a full-load RPM from 120-240 and an impact rate of 1200-2500 BPM, allowing the user to manage the tool speed according to the demands of the material. This multi-duty rotary hammer has an easy-to-use dial for two modes of operation, hammer-drilling and drilling only. The DH45MR has a needle pin slip clutch for high slip torque accuracy, gear protection, and increased user safety. Auto-stop carbon brushes prevent motor damage and prolong service life and the added stability of a metal housing also stops grease leakage caused by heat and stress. The soft elastomer handle, a feature of Hitachi's ergonomic "Inspire" design line, provides a secure grip surface, absorbing vibration for comfort and control during operation. Its solid and dependable chuck accepts SDS Max bits and the quick release function makes replacements easy. A 12-position variable lock mechanism allows for simple adjustment of chisels to the optimal working angle. An adjustable 360° side handle provides better control and can be removed when working in tight spaces for better maneuverability. The side handle is securely attached with a rigid steel bracket and includes a depth gauge for consistent drilling depths. The Hitachi DH45MR comes complete with a depth gauge, side handle, grease, 4mm and 5mm hex bar wrenches, and injection molded carrying case with ample storage space for accessories. write your comments about the article :: © 2008 Construction News :: home page |
