| KHD Humboldt Wedag awarded US$51 million contract in Lithuania Plant engineering and equipment supply company KHD Humboldt Wedag International Ltd announced that it has been selected by Akmenes Cementas AB -- the only cement producer in Lithuania, and the largest cement producer in the Baltic region -- to provide a production line to produce 4,500 tons per day of clinker. The company values the new contract at approximately US$51 million. The order covers engineering, design and equipment supply, from raw-material crushing to clinker transport and distribution to silos.
