| The CASE CX210B tracked excavator With the introduction of the CASE CX210B hydraulic excavator, the first in a series designed around the new engine technology, the manufacturer has once again taken an innovative stance. The all-new CASE CX210B excavator, in standard configuration, has an operating weight of 21,500 kg, almost 10% more than the model it replaces. The extra weight is to add strength and durability to the excavator to enable it to utilise available power and performance to full effect. The driving force for the CX210B is an Isuzu 4HK 1X Tier III certified electronic, common rail, 4 stroke turbocharged 5.2 litre diesel. Many customers will be surprised to see that the new engine is only a 4-cylinder compared to the 6-cylinder in the previous models. With an operating weight of 21,500 kg, the CX210B is designed for productivity. Maximum bucket capacity is 1.26-m³ and lift capacity up to 14923 kg depending on configuration and reach. With a bucket digging force of 15200 daN using Power Boost, the excavator is able to cope with extremely difficult materials. A maximum digging depth of 6.65 m, dump height of 6.84 m and forward reach of 9.73 m provides a wide operating envelope for more efficient handling of materials. Maximum travel speed is 5.6 km/h. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
