| First double-flue boiler leaves new LOOS production unit 28 August 2007 was the red-letter day when the first LOOS ZFR double-flue steam boiler to be made in the newly built production hall, with a dispatch weight of 74 tonnes, left the ultra-modern production plant. A total of over €9 million was invested in the impressive LOOS large-scale boiler plant, which was built in record time. It was precisely twelve months from the planning application to the turnkey handover in May. Just four months later, the plant had been completely fitted out with new, ultra-modern production equipment. For this, the complete manufacturing process within the various plants were analysed and reorganised. The actual challenge, however, lay in dealing with the mammoth project whilst production was running at full power – by the by, as it were, and without any delay in the delivery of the boilers. write your comments about the article :: © 2007 Construction News :: home page |
