| The 2009 EWEC to take place in Marseille ![]() 5000 key players from the European wind energy sector - from decision makers to industry leaders and technical experts - will meet in Marseille for four days of constructive exchange about the forthcoming challenges the European wind industry wants to tackle and the energy and climate solutions wind power brings to Europe. For the French Wind Energy Association - France Energie Eolienne (FEE) - "EWEC will provide an opportunity to engage political decision makers in France in understanding the positive role that wind energy can play in supporting climate change, and in the set up of regulatory frameworks which will allow us to reach the objective of 20% of renewable energy by 2020". The Convention Centre, the Parc Chanot, will welcome 200 speakers from across Europe, who will take part in 40 political, technical and scientific sessions.
