| Paroc participates in founding local insulation associations Paroc has been an active member in starting up local insulation associations together with other insulation producers. The most recent associations were established in the Baltic States. The associations in Estonia called Estisol and Mineralinės Vatos Gamintoju Asociacija in Lithuania were established in 2005 and 2006. The latest association, Latisol, was formed in Latvia in October 2007. The aim of the local insulation association is to contribute to the appropriate use of insulation materials in the country. To reach this target, the association informs of the correct ways of insulating and the positive effect of insulation as regards energy use in buildings. Cooperating with authorities plays an important part of the association's activity, in order to ensure the correct use of insulation for the benefit of energy saving. Members of the association manufacture products for use by the building industry and other industrial applications for thermal, fire and sound insulation.
