| Washington Group International announces preliminary 3Q results Washington Group International announced preliminary financial results for its third quarter ended Sept. 28, 2007, and updated its full-year 2007 guidance based on developments during the quarter. The estimated net income for the 2007 third quarter includes approximately $5.7 million after tax, or $0.18 per share. New work for the quarter, estimated to be approximately $1.1 billion. Revenue for the 2007 third quarter is estimated to be approximately $1.1 billion, up from $824 million in the 2006 third quarter.
